Riveria Travel

The success of the affinity partnership scheme between Riviera Travel and the Third Age Trust has resulted in over £110,000 in commission being paid out to individual u3as for 2019 alone.

This has resulted in thousands of individual payments being made to different accounts – in itself this is no longer sustainable but neither the Third Age Trust or Riviera Travel would want to withdraw the offer completely.

Therefore, the process for the payment of the commission from Riviera Travel for members of the u3a taking their holidays and cruises is to change.  For all travellers departing on or after 1st April 2020, the 10% commission payment will be made directly to the Third Age Trust, in the month following that of departure, for them to distribute to the appropriate u3a.

All payments for departures before 1st April 2020 will be dealt with by Riviera Travel in the current manner.

Our day out in Liverpool

A lovely day spent at RHS Bridgewater Garden, our first outing since lockdown. It was great to catch up with everyone. Lovely weather and lots to see walking round this wonderful new garden.
