The u3a is for retired and semi-retired people to come together and learn together, not for qualifications but for its own reward: the sheer joy of discovery. We offer educational, creative and leisure opportunities for retired and semi-retired people living in New Mills and the surrounding area. No qualifications are needed to join, there is no age limit, and there are no exams. Details of our wide variety of activities can be found on the group pages. We have over 500 members.
